Sports Medicine
Sports medicine is a clinical specialty that conducts theoretical and practical studies on increasing participation in physical activity to protect and improve health; conducting health assessments of healthy or chronically ill individuals before participating in sports, regardless of their level; developing programs and exercise preions for participation in sports and physical activity; preventing, diagnosing, treating and rehabilitating injuries and health problems encountered during this process; evaluating the medical aspects of athlete performance; and combating doping.
